This Disclosure explains the corporate structure behind the SquareFi platform and the roles of the entities involved. It applies to, and should be read in conjunction with, the documents published in this legal portal.
1. ENTITIES
SquareFi Inc. — a corporation incorporated in the State of Delaware, United States, with its principal address at 2093 Philadelphia Pike, Suite 2383, Claymont, DE 19703. SquareFi develops, operates, and licenses the technology platform, including APIs, embedded-finance infrastructure, white-label solutions, and card-program technology. SquareFi is a technology company and is not a financial institution; it does not hold funds, accept deposits, or provide financial services.
BUYEASY TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD — a corporation incorporated in Ontario, Canada (Corporation Number 1500317-2), with its registered office at 320 Matheson Blvd W, Suite 211, Mississauga, ON L5R 0H2. BUYEASY is registered with FINTRAC as a money services business (registration No. M23877619) and with the Bank of Canada as a payment service provider under the Retail Payment Activities Act (PSP entity ID RPS0014827). BUYEASY is the regulated provider of the financial services accessed through the platform — banking and payment services, foreign-exchange conversion, and cryptocurrency services — and may engage third-party custodians and partner institutions.
2. ROLES
- Technology platform: developed, operated, and licensed by SquareFi Inc.
- Financial services: provided by BUYEASY TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD as the regulated provider.
- White-label brands: SquareFi's technology powers white-label brands (such as Mosta) operated for or by clients; each brand is a front-end on the same technology, with BUYEASY as the financial services provider.
